Dr. Ghazwan Khadhory Kashat, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical experience serving Sterling Heights and the greater Macomb County community. He earned his medical degree from Grace University School of Medicine in 2003 and completed his Family Medicine residency at Corewell Health East Beaumont (Grosse Pointe) from 2004 to 2007.
Dr. Kashat has particular expertise in the management of diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and weight loss — conditions he treats with a frequency that places him among the top providers nationally. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Chaldean, allowing him to serve Sterling Heights’ diverse community in a deeply personal way.
He is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Chaldean American Association of Health Professionals. He is affiliated with McLaren Macomb, Henry Ford St. John Hospital, and Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital.
